What a shameThe grids are well made and look to have adequate load bearing strength for my project. However, because the base I need is hexagonal there’s a huge over purchase and awkward installation - because the sections only fit together in squared patterns!
A little more thought to the position of the connecting lugs would have allowed overlapping the joints (which might also have added to the strength of the assembly) but they won’t match! For the purpose of stabilisation they’re fine but for linking they’re not so good relying entirely on the lugs.

Early alarm callI ordered these and was given a delivery date, sp lanned my week accordingly so that I would be in on the advised day, Great. EXCEPT that the delivery arrived three days earlier and it was only by good fortune that I had left to go out, otherwise there would have been no one to receive these.
In use I found these to be easy to work with, but the key really is a level ground to put them on, as these will follow the contours. I raked a shallow layer of gravel over the ground (which was very sticky clay and impossible to level sufficiently) then laid the grids on this, checking levels as I went followed by filling all with gravel as well as about 25-30 cm beyond the grids. All seemed good until I started building my shed when I realised there were still some dips which needed infill. All good now. Are they as easy as one would hope for, well not on wet sticky clay is my answer. Hoever it does seem after 4 weeks to be a stable and soild base. I guess time will tell.
Also found these make a good temporary walkway to stop the lawn turning to mud!
